Hindsight transcribes your computer's microphone and system audio all day, on device. Your AI assistant can look back through all of it: this morning's call, a video from last week, the last time you spoke to a client.
Your microphone, and everything your computer plays: calls, videos, podcasts, the conversation across the desk. It notes which app each sound came from, and which browser tab. Echo cancellation keeps a call from being transcribed twice.
Transcripts are made on device and kept in an encrypted database. Name a voice once and Hindsight knows who said what from then on. Your calendar helps it tell one meeting from the next.
Hindsight is an MCP connector, so any AI agent that supports MCP can search your day, read transcripts and see who you spoke to. Add it to your agent's config and allow it once.

}Transcription runs on device. The database is encrypted, with its key in your system's secure store. Nothing is uploaded.
Each agent has to be allowed once, in Hindsight's window, before it can read anything. Apps you haven't allowed get nothing.
Hindsight saves transcripts, not recordings, apart from a short clip of each new voice so you can name it. The window can ask for Touch ID or Windows Hello before showing anything.
Download Hindsight and use everything for 7 days of recording. There's no account to create and no card to enter. When the trial ends you can still read everything it heard, and so can your assistant; it just stops recording.
Subscribe when your trial runs out, or before. Everything stays on your computer, so what you've recorded is yours whatever happens to your plan.
